Zack: This is above average artwork for this book.
Steve: Probably the weirdest thing about this book is how the dude delves way into all these social issues and you still can’t quite tell what side he takes. Like, yeah, the anti-abortion people are crazy killers, but then again, the liberal people are crazy Caligula people who have pentagrams and blood magic.
Zack: We’re getting ahead of ourselves a little. Here’s the blurb on the back of the book that summarizes very roughly what is happening:
Steve: Yeah all of that sounds crazy, bu that’s not even the half of it. This is tied into the Otherverse setting in general so you’ll be reading about some lady getting a nanotech rape kit test and suddenly the doctor is a gray alien for no reason.
Zack: Lots of references to stuff like “Lifechains” and super powers and different alien races that are barely even covered in this book.
Zack: So, to revisit my Rifts analogy, this is like a Rifts Worldbook: Abortion World. You take an already crazy setting and add a new province of craziness.
Steve: Which sounds way better and more coherent than it actually is, dude. This thing is bonkers.
